FTC Amends Telemarketing Sales Rule to Update National Do Not Call Registry Access Fees

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a final rule amending the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). North Carolina Court Grants Partial Summary Judgment Against MV Realty for Telemarketing Violations

The North Carolina Business Court granted the State's motion for partial summary judgment against MV Realty PBC, LLC and related entities. Ninth Circuit: Calls and texts offering to buy homes may be 'telephone solicitations' under TCPA

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit reversed a lower court's dismissal of a putative class action. The court held that allegations of calls and text messages offering to buy real estate sufficiently pleaded that the messages qualified as 'telephone solicitations' under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
